Description
Genesis - 1970-1975 6 LP box set. This is the very rare EU 200g 2008 issue. The 200g is exclusive to the EU issue (the US is 180g).
This set includes 6 vinyl LPs (Trespass, Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (2 LPs in this double album)). All beautifully reproduced with original artwork, gatefolds were applicable, and housed in a hardcover slipcase. Additionally, the half-speed mastering by Nick Davis is astounding, and far exceeds the sonics of the original US and UK issues (which were never that great to begin with, except for the US Lamb LP). Also, the compression of the equivalent CD box set is tamed to a great degree on these LP versions.
Unfortunately, the LPs in the set took a jar in previous shipping, which resulted in the heavy 200g LPs going through both the tops and bottoms of the jacket and creating split seams. I have taken detailed photos of this.
Otherwise, the outer slipcase and the jackets are in perfect condition, and all vinyl looks mint save for a few very minor paper scuffs on the 1st disc of Lamb which don't affect play.
Will be packed very protectively.
