Genesis 1970-1975 5 180g LP box set. 6 LPs total in the box as The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is a double LP. This is the 2008 US Rhino issue.

Genesis' 5 best LPs in exact reproduction jackets (w/ gatefolds where applicable). All housed in a heavy construction slipcase box.

If you really care about sound, there is no question this is the item to get. Genesis is one of those cases where the original vinyl actually didn't sound all that great (and original issue CDs sounded horrid). When Nick Davis remixed these albums in 2008, it was a revelation. There was almost unanimous praise for the new mixes; they opened up these albums and revealed incredible detail and spaciousness that the original recordings simply didn't have. There was one problem, however, in that the mastering of the CDs was a little too loud and compressed. This is where this box comes in. As these vinyl reissues have their own mastering, the new mixes shine in superb quality at last, without any issues regarding loudness or squashed dynamics inherent in the digital versions.

In short..there is no better sounding copy of these Genesis recordings in existence.

This box is in perfect MINT condition. No dings to the slipcase, no issues with the LPs. They have been MINIMALLY played, meaning at MOST one or two plays on my high-end system with high-end needle.

All items are shipped within one business day of receiving payment (Mon-Fri; we do not ship on Saturdays - items purchased on Friday or Saturday will be shipped the following Monday, excepting holidays). All LPs are correctly packaged to protect against damage. All items stored in pet and smoke free home.

Customers in the following areas MUST purchase registered mail, regardless of item value: Mexico, Central America, South America, Italy, Russia, Africa, Turkey and Greece.  Registered mail will be $13.65 in addition to regular postage. You will be invoiced for this amount through Paypal after your purchase. If you do not pay this invoice, we must cancel the transaction. If you live in the areas mentioned above and registered mail cannot be purchased for your locality we must cancel the transaction.

PAYMENT

We only accept Paypal at this point. Buy It Now items require immediate payment. We do combine shipping, but only on items of similar format and size. If you wish to combine shipping for multiple items, please purchase and pay for all items, including shipping, and a refund will then be issued to you via Paypal for any difference in shipping.
