GENESIS - A TRICK OF THE TAIL – VINYL LP

ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING MFSL 1-062 MINT-/MINT-

From my own personal collection, up for sale is this limited edition ‘Original Master Recording’ of the 'A Trick of the Tail' album by Genesis - my personal favourite of theirs, with classics such as 'Entangled', 'Mad, man moon', 'Robbery, assault and battery' and 'Ripples'.

This high quality edition was released in 1976 on the MFSL label. It features half-speed mastering, super high-definition vinyl (with extended life), imported pressing, with the source being the original stereo master tape.

The outer cover is gatefold style and is made of stiffer card than the original release. Also present are the promotional MFSL gatefold sleeve and inserts, including the certificate of limited warranty and response card. The disc is housed inside the original static-free inner sleeve.

All records I am currently selling are from my own personal collection They have been looked after over the years, stored vertically and not tightly packed. They have only been played on a good quality turntable & cartridge setup (currently Rega Planar 3 & Goldring G1020) which I believe will have helped to minimise play wear to the discs.

GRADING INFORMATION:

All albums are graded visually and audibly unless stated. I try to be as accurate as possible here, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase I do offer a full refund so please contact me before leaving feedback in this instance.

Records are graded according to UK Record Collector Magazine:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. "

Plus (+) or minus (-) afterwards indicates slightly above or below the above grades.
