Foxtrot marked a decisive point in Genesis's career. An emerging art-rock band who were building up a growing cult following with a busy touring schedule, this album was an artistic and commercial landmark: It was their first album to chart, reaching Number 12 (rather bizarrely, it made it to Number One in Italy!). Including the classic "Watcher Of The Skies" and Peter Gabriel's whimsically compassionate slice-of-life "Get 'Em Out By Friday", the highlight was the ambitious side-long epic "Supper's Ready". Comprising seven linked subsections, it is a story of two lovers and the struggle between good and evil; certainly it was the most innovative and entertaining piece the band had produced to date. Depending on your perspective, the relatively low production values of the recording could be said to detract somewhat from the impact of the album or to add a pleasantly rough edge to what might otherwise be a somewhat prim sound. --James Swift
This copy has been opened but it has never been played. The LP and jacket are flawless. The jacket shows no edge wear or shelf storage wear. A plastic protector has always been used during storage. I would grade the overall condition as mint minus for the fact that it is opened and never played.
When grading LPs, I am using the Goldmine standards and the book sits on my desk for reference. When an album is graded mint minus has no visible flaws. VG++ may have one hair-line scratch from inserting the LP into the sleeve or similar extremely minor visual flaw that does not affect play. An album graded VG+ has a few hair-line scratches from insert into the sleeve and does not affect play. None of these LPs are abused and none of them have any issues that affect play.

The item will be packaged using a new cardboard box measuring 14" x 14" x 1" with additional packaging material for protection during shipping.
Shipping is via Canada Post or UPS services although if you prefer FedEx or another shipper I will be happy to work with you. All shipping costs are charged without any mark-up or additional fees. No handling charges are applied. The item will ship within one business day of payment received.
If purchasing from overseas I would recommend Canada Post XpressPost service or UPS with tracking and insurance for items valued at $50.00 or more. I do not ship overseas via surface post.
