For auction here is a copy of the 4th album by Genesis released in1972, this signed cover is a second pressing of the album (smooth cover) and is in very good condition.

The vinyl also looks fantastic for 36 years old, but it's the cover your interested in right ??

It has the signatures from

PETER GABRIEL

PHIL COLLINS

TONY BANKS

MIKE RUTHERFORD

and very importantly a Certificate Of Authenticity (COA)

Why am i selling such a prized item ???.............i have receintly bought another copy signed by the band from the albums recording mastering engineer "George Peckham" (the guy who inscribed PORKY & PECKO on the original mastered discs)

so that makes this copy a "spare" and i would really like it to go to a good home..........a genesis fanatic like me !!!.

Now their are signed albums out there from Genesis for auction.......but do they have a COA ????.....if "not" i personally would not touch them....now another thing about this copy that makes it very special for me (and the reason i bought it in the first place was because it has "Peter Gabriels" signature, yes their are signed copies of this and other Genesis albums with Peters signature....but do they also have COLLINS, BANKS, & RUTHERFORD ???? (I'll bet Phil, Mike, & Tony signed hundreds of album covers on the recent tour, and a few of them will probably appear for auction over the next few years.....but will they also have "Peters" ??????................probably not !

Now the question you are all asking yourselves is......why does it not have "Steve Hackett's" signature...well i don't know is the simple answer...but what i do know is that if you are holding this copy and Steve is about he would gladly sign it for you as he is one of the most approachable gentlemen in the business..

To conclude i will again stress the rarity of this signed Genesis album

Not only does it have GENUINE signatures from

Collins, Banks, & Rutherford.

i'm wearing (as always at Genesis events) "A Trick Of The Tail" Tourjacket that i bought in late 1975, i'm standing next to "John Mayhew" Genesis drummer on "Trespass" (John's only Genesis album as he was replaced by Phil Collins)
