Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Foxtrot by Genesis, UK first pressing from 1972 on Charisma CAS. 1058.
The stamped matrix no.s are CAS 1058 A 1 - U and CAS 1058 B 1 - U with PORKY on Side 1 and PECKO on Side 2.
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition no noticeable scuffs or scratches There is nothing that is audible or affects play.The labels are spotless with no stickers, writing, spindle marks or stains. The labels state "Manufactured And Distributed by B & C Records Ltd." All in upper case.
The textured gatefokd cover cover, printed by E. J. Day Group, is in Near Mint condition. All I can find wrong is an extremely faint spot of discolouration on the top right hand corner of the front where a sticker may have been, but you have to hold it up to the light to see it. The spine is perfect and has red coloured letteringand the cardboard is as fresh and crisp as the day it left the printers. The text inside reads "Marketed by B&C Records Ltd., 37 Soho Square, London, W1".
The original "Charisma Puts A Little Colour In Your Cheeks" inner sleeve is also Near Mint.
In summary
, an excellent copy, especially in this "museum piece" condition, of a 40 year old record.
Comes from a smoke free home.
