Up for grabs is this UK vinyl album by Genesis. Entitled From Genesis To Revelation, this is an original stereo issue, second pressing on the blue Decca label with boxed logo. The box label is often listed as a first pressing; however first pressings have an unboxed Decca logo, which was still in use in March 1969 when this LP was released. (The box label was introduced around October 1969.) This second pressing has the same matrix numbers found on the first pressing (see pressing details below). It contains 13 tracks and is housed in a front-laminated, cover and original Decca inner sleeve. (First pressings had the mono/stereo die-cut hole in the back cover but this second pressing doesn't). Also included is the original double-sided lyric insert (see pics). The catalogue number is SKL 4990 and the date of issue is late 1969/early 1970.

Side 1 matrix: ZAL-8839.P-1W 
Side 2 matrix: ZAL-8840.P-2W (there were no 1W pressings, even on the first pressing) 
Side 1 mother and stamper: 1 BN
Side 2 mother and stamper: 2 (also has 1 underneath) UC  

Condition

The vinyl is in Very Good condition as it has one scratch on Side 1 which is at the very end of the first track and about half way into the second. This causes some light clicks but no jumps or sticks whatsoever. Apart from this one scratch, the record would grade as Ex as it is otherwise in lovely condition.

The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and only the very lightest hint of spindle marks.

The double-sided lyric sheet is in Excellent condition. 

The front-laminated cover is in Very Good condition with a bit of laminate lifting by the spine, a tiny nick near the bottom of the front opening edge and a bit of ring wear on the back (see pics). The spine is complete with clear printing but a bit of laminate cracking. 

All my vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system. Please check my GRADING GUIDE to see a description of each grade. If any item has any writing, stickers, sticker marks, tears etc these will always be mentioned along with the grading. All records are sent in custom-made mailers, with stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits.
