Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

 

This is an auction for:  Genesis - From Genesis to Revelation - RARE Original Vinyl LP album 1969.

Original UK Boxed Decca Pressing.

Inner lyric sheet is complete. It has a number of yellow foxing marks but is intact and decent for its age.

 

Vinyl Condition: G/VG (There are light sleeve lines but the record really is in very nice condition for its age and plays very well with good sound. There is some minor crackle and the odd click and pop in places but no sticks or jumps).


Inner sleeve Condition: G (Some handling wear and corner folds/creases. Top right corner has an approx 4cm split from the top).

 

Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Front laminated sleeve is pretty good for its age. There are some heavy edge and corner creases. Bottom right has some visible corner creases. There is a small nick towards the top edge. There is some light ring wear to the unlaminated back. Generally pretty good for its age).

 

 

 

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

 

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
