Genesis NEW ZEALAND Original Genesis To Revelation 1969 Orange Decca LP
Original NEW ZEALAND LP on the Orange Decca Label. Stupidly rare as a New Zealand press. Famously New Zealand issued “When Sour Turns To Sweet” as a single. If the sales of this LP were dependent on that single, then it’s easy to see why this is so rare. Sank like a stone!!!
Catalogue number is SKLM 4990 and is a STEREO recording.
Record in VERY GOOD PLUS to EXCELLENT condition. This record has been really well looked after but there are several visible scuffs that let it down and hence the grading. They are all cosmetic and light but they are there. It doesn’t look like it’s been played much otherwise. A very solid thick pressing and really still a lovely record.
Labels are clean - no writing, stickers or tears to either label. PLEASE see the photos.
Sleeve is also in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. The front sleeve is laminated with flipbacks on the rear. The rear panel has slight grubbiness but this could be improved with a clean. The front sleeve has two pieces of black adhesive tape fixed to the front, clearly to hide an abrasion of some sort. The sleeve has not been pierced but the indentation can be clearly seen inside the cover. I shall leave the new owner to deal with this. No writing, stickers or tears otherwise.
