Two Historic Concerts Combined:
Lyceum Ballroom, London - May 7, 1980: Famous BBC broadcast from the Duke tour. The Lyceum shows (May 6-7, 1980) are considered among Genesis' finest performances of the era, showcasing the entire Duke album plus classic material. This broadcast has been bootlegged numerous times but this Steam Records pressing is among the best quality.
Knebworth Festival - June 24, 1978: Genesis' second appearance at the legendary Knebworth Festival during the Wind & Wuthering tour. This performance before 80,000+ fans featured rare performances of "Burning Rope" and "Fountain of Salmacis."
Sound Quality: Considered one of the best-sounding Genesis bootlegs. All instruments are clear with excellent stereo separation and very little crowd noise. Far superior to typical audience recordings. Some collectors note the playback runs slightly slow (about 6 RPM), making Phil's voice deeper than normal, but the overall quality remains exceptional.
Pressing Details: Original first issues were shrinkwrapped and made in USA (East Coast) around 1980. Also released as picture disc versions. Later copied in Netherlands with different sleeve texture. This is a sought-after pressing among Genesis bootleg collectors.
Historical Note: This bootleg predates the official "Three Sides Live" album and gives fans access to complete performances from two different eras - the progressive Duke period and the transitional post-Hackett Wind & Wuthering tour.
Condition: Very Good
Highly collectible Genesis bootleg - excellent sound quality, combining two legendary performances. Essential for serious Genesis collectors. Much better sounding than most bootlegs of this era.
