1. I accept PAYPAL only
2. Payment within 7 days of the auction ending please or I will relist and inform Ebay.
3. If you are not happy please email me to see if we can sort things out. Please see my feedback as I think it says all you need to know
4. I use the Record Collector grading system to the best of my ability (see full descriptions below)
5. I will always obtain proof of posting but cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post UNLESS you specifically take out postal insurance or I have included it in the sale price. Email me before payment to find out costs.
6. When I describe an album I refer to its audio quality. Albums
of a certain age always have hairline marks. Unless these are significant or affect play I will not mention them. I ALWAYS play grade albums before listing.
Part 4: About me
I am a record enthusiast who likes to buy and sell records (mostly buy) to widen my horizons and to extend my own collection. As you can see from my feedback I have sold quite a few records now and pride myself on good descriptions and honest evaluations. I am not a trader but I buy and sell in my spare time sometimes listing up to a dozen records per week or no records at all. I only sell records I would be happy to buy.
Thanks for looking, Andy
Record Collector’s Grading System:
Mint
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good
The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
Fair
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
