Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Genesis – Trespass – RARE Original Vinyl LP album from 1970.
Pink Scroll Charisma Label.
UK Pressing
E.J Day Textured Sleeve
Matrix: Side 1 – CAS 1020 A-2U
Side 2 – CAS 1020 B-2U
Vinyl Condition: G (Visually the record has a number of light surface marks and several large white scuff marks and a lot of light lines etc. Side 2 has several large white scuff marks acorss the tracks but these are very light. These marks are superficial and record plays great and really does sound great/ There is the occasional pop, click and tick but overall great playback. No sticks or jumps. Overall visually G, playback VG).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Original inner sleeve is missing so a new plain white sleeve has been provided).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G/VG (Textured gatefold sleeve has a name written in blue pen on the front. Inside the gatefold sleeve ont he bottom right corner there is a name written again which has been partially rubbed out. There are also several small pink marks. Looks like very small dots of pink paint. Nothing major. Overall sleeve is very good for its age and has just some general light wear in keeping with age).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
