Exceptionally rare/ scare Gennett Electrobeam Record # 6960
John McGhee- Life Ain't Worth Living When You're Broke (Recorded June 1, 1928. John McGhee- vocals, guitar, harmonica)/ Kirk McGee- My Wife Left Me (Recorded Nov. 27, 1928. Kirk McGee- vocal, mandolin. Blythe Poteet- guitar)
Record is in Excellent shape (Very faint signs of handling, still retains much of its original sheen, some very, very light marks on surface and some very, very faint small stains. Very small pressing bubbles on surface)
Sleeve has all seams intact with a small amount torn off at the top opening with some very small tears, along with some discoloration near top corners and a small amount at the bottom. Some light creasing along sides
This is a record I have not seen surface on any internet auction and the sleeve alone is sought after in this shape.
I have been selling/ shipping 78s for years and I believe my grading is quite conservative in relation to the majority of 78 dealers on ebay. I believe my grading of this record at "E" to be quite accurate, especially considering its previous owner graded it at "E+".
Record will be shipped within padded "sandwiches" bracketed by cardboard in a sturdy box.
