Description
Nice Aussie copy of this superb prog classic from 1971, beautifully produced by Tony Visconti. I wonder why the band didn’t stick with him for subsequent albums? This pressing isn’t quite as good as the UK version and the vinyl is much thinner, but the sound is still pretty good.
Gatefold sleeve – VG+. In very good shape overall but there is some ringwear on the front of the gatefold. The spine is intact.
Labels – Ex+. Very little spindlewear, suggesting few plays.
Inner bag – Ex. This is a homemade spiral job, which does the job well I think. The original bag was a circular plastic one which was badly creased & had begun to react with the vinyl.
Record – Visually Ex. There are faint wispy marks on Side 1 which have no impact on the sound. These marks were caused by the original polythene inner.
Playback is Excellent overall, with some light crackle in the quieter passages.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' system.
Postage to the UK (2nd class) is £2.50. If buying more than one LP, postage is 50p for each extra LP.
