Gentle Giant - Acquiring The Taste LP

Vertigo. 6360041. Black/White Swirl label. Stereo. UK 1971.

Original swirl paper/plastic inner sleeve.

First press. Gatefold cover
           Graded cover/record Ex/VG+
Cover is nice and solid.
Labels are clean. The vinyl is shiny and looks top clean at first glance,
but has a lot of ultratiny paper scufflike surface marks seen in bright light.
More on side 1 and almost none on side 2.
A side plays excellent at most but there are a few parts with occasional light crackles and ticks.
B side plays perfect.

Rare original british progressive rock LP, their second, produced by Tony Visconti.
Really great and musically inventive. Besides the obvius rock instrumentation there are plenty
other instruments used with great result, fe vibes, flute and strings.

About the album from Wikipedia:
"The album cover has some innuendo in that it is made to look like a tongue licking an anus.
However, when opened completely, it is actually a tongue licking a peach.
In 2005, it was featured in Pitchfork Media´s list of "The Worst Record Covers of All Time...
it is the longest studio album the group has ever released"

FAQ:
Can You end the auction and sell the record to me?
- No I do not end auctions early, everyone has a chance to bid.

I think the postage rates are high, can You give me a lower rate?
- Sorry, I think they are high too, but it is not I who set them.

Do You have other records similiar to this that You can sell to me?
- Not right now. If I do later I will sell them through Ebay.
