Before I give you a description of this Beatles Fan Club Christmas LP, please read the following information carefully.

I’m in the US Military serving overseas here in the Pacific.  All items I sell are shipped via USPS Priority mail and must pass thru both the military and civilian postal systems.  The military mail system is reliable, but it can be quite slow at times.

PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO WAIT 14 TO 28 DAYS FOR IT TO ARRIVE. (The average time shipping time using Priority Mail is about 17 days.) This is an international transaction and your patience in receiving your shipment is greatly appreciated!

BECAUSE OF MY REMOTE LOCATION, THE ONLY METHOD OF PAYMENT I ACCEPT IS PAYPAL.  If you do not have a current Paypal account with a “confirmed shipping address”, please DO NOT bid on this auction.

PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN THREE DAYS OF CLOSE OF AUCTION.  Money orders and checks take weeks to arrive, so it’s not a practical way for me to accept payment.  Thanks for understanding!  I try my best to get your item in the mail to you within 48 hours of payment.  Many times I can ship the same day I receive payment.

SHIPPING:

I WILL ONLY SHIP TO YOUR “PAYPAL CONFIRMED” UNITED STATES ADDRESS.  SORRY NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS. (I’m always glad to ship to other US Military APO and FPO addresses.)

As I mentioned earlier, the only shipping method I use is USPS PRIORITY MAIL.  (Parcel Post and space available mail SAM are much too slow.)  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSURANCE AND I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR UNINSURED ITEMS THAT ARE LOST OR DAMAGED IN THE MAIL.

When the auction ends I will calculate shipping charges based on your zip code.  I ONLY CHARGE ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS ON MY AUCTIONS. Unlike other Ebay sellers, I do not try to make a profit on bogus shipping and handling charges!

Up for bid is a genuine 1970 Beatles Fan Club Christmas LP.  This record had only one printing and was never sold in stores.  It was sent to members of the US Beatles Fan Club only.

Unfortunately this record is one of the most counterfeited Beatle LPs, so buyer and bidders beware!  Fake copies are always being sold on Ebay.  The only way to verify that you are bidding on an authentic copy is to ask if the record has the words “bell stamp” etched clearly in the dead wax area of the vinyl.

The copy I’m selling has this “bell stamp” and is definitely an 1970 original. The condition of the record is as follows:

Jacket:  I would rate the record jacket between a VG and VG+ using the goldmine record grading standards.  It’s a very clean copy, but does show wear to the top seam.  There is about 1” of wear and seam splitting.  The spine and bottom seam are in great shape.  The cover is bright and clean, but it seems someone has lightly touched up the corners with a matching blue marker.  Overall, an excellent cover.

Vinyl:  Both side show minor scuffs and scratches and I would visually grade this between a VG and VG+.

Labels:  Both labels are clean and bright, very little if any spindle wear.  A strong VG++

The Goldmine Record Price Guide lists this record at $400 for a NM copy, $200 for a VG+ and $100 for a VG.  I think my copy is worth about $150.00, but I will start my no reserve bid at $99.00

Every vinyl record that I sell is conservatively graded and I list ALL defects that I see.  LP’s are shipped in heavy duty cardboard LP mailers with the record removed from the jacket to protect the seams.  Your record will arrive clean and protected in a plastic sleeve.
