Genuine and original first single by The Beatles.
Red Parlophone label. Version without Made in Gt Britain Marking. 45-R 4949.
Record was not bought as a collector's item and has instead been played and enjoyed. It therefore has a fair number of surface scratches, as you'd expect from a record that is more than 50 years old.
Nevertheless, item is still in very reasonable condition for a record of its age. Plays fine and doesn't jump.
Markings on vinyl: A Side (Love Me Do): 7XCE 17144-1N and ZT1
B Side (P.S I Love You): 7XCE 17145-1N and ZT1
Background information I've had this item since the early 1970s when, as I child, I had to win a race in order to win this record. As the reissued version did not come out until 1982, and as I've had this item for so long, I hereby confirm that it is an original 1962 version.
