Description
Geordie was formed in 1971 under the name of U.S.A. with four band members - Brian Johnson, Vic Malcolm, Tom Hill and Brian Gibson. In 1972 they changed their name to Geordie to honour their roots and enjoyed unexpected success with their pop side of metal style and entertaining stage antics from the future AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson.
This record was found in a carefully looked after and plastic cover protected record collection that had remained undisturbed for many years.
This is their 1973 12" vinyl LP "HOPE YOU LIKE IT" and is signed by all band members on the inner white sleeve.
This album is in Excellent condition throughout. It has been kept in a protective plastic folder and was clearly owned by a huge Geordie fan who managed to get all four band members signatures including pre AC/DC's Brian Johnson.
The record itself has been graded excellent, it appears to have been played very little with only minimal surface marks and wispy hairlines and the sound quality is excellent.
The outer picture sleeve is in excellent condition, no damage or storage marks - very minimal creasing to the opening edge and the spine is uncreased and strong and fully readable with no scuffs.
The signed inner white sleeve is also in excellent condition.
I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
The record will be cleaned by myself and packaged in a protective plastic cover and then posted in a custom cardboard record mailer with a cardboard stiffener.
