Description
Title: George Gershwin - Rhapsody In Blue / An American In Paris (Vinyl, 2 Full Albums on 1 LP, 12" 33 RPM)
DJ/Promotional Copy?: No
Label: Capitol Records
Catalog #: P 303
This record has been part of my family's collection for decades. The record itself looks to be in good condition. I can see some scratches / smudges. The jacket is in good condition with some wear on the edges and the front and back. There is a place in the top left corner on the front that has had some of the artwork torn off (on top of George's name). Also there is some tape in that corner. There is also some tape on the bottom - because the bottom seam is split. Otherwise, the jacket is in good condition.
Grading: VG
Please note: I try to grade a little lower because I would rather rate it 1 rating under what I feel the grading to be - then you get it and be happy that it's in better shape than you thought - then to over-rate the grading and have you disappointed. Also, I have not test played these records, so ratings are based on my physical eye inspection. Furthermore, I do not try to "fix" any blemishes with sleeves/jackets - such as busted seams and do not try to clean the records. I leave this up to the buyer as I do not want to lower the value any by trying to "fix" something.

Records are graded using the grading system from Ebay as follows:
Mint Perfect, flawless. Legitimate sellers seldom use this grade. When a record is truly
Mint, it deserves (and receives) a large premium over other grades.
M- or NM (Mint Minus or Near Mint) – Usually the highest grade. Records from the
1950s & 60s in this condition are truly rare.
VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus) – Beautiful collectible condition. Only the slightest of
wear, certainly no deep scratches.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Great condition. Well cared for.
VG (Very Good) – Still good condition, but more wear than VG+.
VG- (Very Good Minus) - Generally not collectible condition, unless it’s a super rare
record. Most dealers avoid records in this shape or below.
G (Good) – Lots of wear, but still playable. The most confusing grade! Good really does
not mean good. It is actually quite poor condition.
Thank You Very Much!
