George Harrison All Things Must Pass : Signed by Clapton - 1970, Apple UK 1st Press
Super 12" vinyl edition of the 'All Things Must Pass' triple box set by George Harrison, signed 'best wishes' on the inside by Eric Clapton, who played alongside Harrison and Dave Mason. This is a UK first press, released in 1970 by Apple Records on STCH 639, and was Harrison's first solo work after the break-up of The Beatles in April that year. Features two LPs of rock songs plus 'Apple Jam' which contains informal jams, and a 36 by 24 inch poster of George Harrison :
- Record One - matrix marks as follows - Side A : YEX 817-1U and Side B : YEX 818-1U. Vinyl is marked and scratched and inner lyric sleeve is very good apart from short split at bottom.
- Record Two - matrix marks as follows - Side A : YEX 819-1U and Side B : YEX 820-1U. Vinyl is very good with a few light marks and inner lyric sleeve very good apart from short split at bottom.
- Record Three - Apple Jam. Matrix marks as follows - Side A : YEX 821-1U and Side B : YEX 822-1U. Both vinyl and inner lyric sleeve in very good condition.
The poster is in excellent unmounted condition and the illustrated storage box is good with the exception of some yellowing, a few light marks, and surface rubbing to the upper right corner of the front picture of a seated Harrison - please see images for further detail.
