UK 1976 Stereo 1st pressing
There was only ONE pressing of this album with this cover, so there's no guesswork about what's inside, it's the black & silver 2-box EMI Parlophone label 1st issue.

Still Sealed!
Most UK albums from this era were not sealed, unless they were sealed by the retailer. This one still has its original price sticker from the UK's HMV store.
A Parlophone ~ Apple ~ EMI project with all tracks sourced directly from the original master tapes at Abbey Road studio.

Condition of Cover:
Near Mint (sealed) no seam splits!
Not even an impression of the record or any ring-wear on this cover, just one slightly bumped corner.
Note 1: bottom RH corner of rear cover states, “7611 TM Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd.”, the '7611' means 1976, November.
Note 2: The back cover is uniformly white, I had trouble with the photos of this one due to indoor lighting and reflections. Also see the old “HMV” price sticker on the front shrink-wrap.

Always stored properly in an outer plastic protective cover, very rare to find a sealed UK first pressing of this highly desirable George Harrison / Beatles album…
37 years old now…
…this album was only released once on the black and silver Parlophone label, the later reissue was on another label with a different cover, making this a first UK pressing by definition.
Search completed listings for examples of the later reissue on the red MFP label for comparison, you will see that the reissue has a different cover photo of George with a mustache, and no hat.
Besides being a sealed UK 1st issue Beatles-related record, the music here is from the original Beatles and solo George Harrison analog master tapes, on UK vinyl, resulting in sound quality true to the original 1960s Beatles Lp’s. Much better sound quality than U.S. pressings of this same material sourced from copy tapes.

Double-Box Packaging:
The sealed Album will be placed inside an additional new clear poly outer protective album cover, sandwiched between two album-sized cardboard stiffeners which are then carefully taped, lightly squeezing the album between the cardboard stiffener edges, enough to prevent the album from sliding up and down or side to side, to prevent seam splits to the sealed album during transit. The album is packaged in a record LP mailer box with cardboard stiffeners and sealed. The record mailer box is then placed inside a larger heavy cardboard (200Lb. Test) shipping box, surrounded by foam peanuts. Your record album will be packaged safely and insured. (see photos below)

Packaging Photos:
These are the packaging materials and sequence:
1) First a layer of foam peanuts in the large outer shipping box, the brand new box is 200Lb test heavy cardboard.2) Next the album, sealed inside a standard Record Mailer box, with cardboard stiffeners (the way most sellers ship albums) is placed on the layer of foam peanuts.
3) Every side of the Record Mailer box has approximately 1” of foam peanuts for padding protection.
4) Final layer of foam peanuts, filled to the top.
5) Large outer box sealed.
6) Comparison photo #1 showing a Bob Dylan album cover (NOT INCLUDED!) on top of standard white Record Mailer box, on top of large outer shipping box.
7) Comparison photo #2 again showing a Bob Dylan album cover (not included!) on top of a white standard Record Mailer box, which is sitting on top of the large outer shipping box, to demonstrate how the standard Record Mailer box is barely larger than your valuable LP, providing little protection.
