George Harrison My Sweet Lord/What Is Life? DEMO Apple Pressing
Here's a FAB piece of history...George Harrisons DEMO copy of "My Sweet Lord"...Possibly his very own copy as it simply has "George's" written on the side 1 label!!!!! *W-O-W* Having just had the utter pleasure of listening to her all the way through, I was incredibly blown away by the wonderful sound reproduction...Just a bit of background crackle, only due to dust, so a good clean will more than likely sort this right out. The single was originally released in the UK on the 15th of January 1971, where it topped the charts for 5 weeks. This copy comes in a plain matte black sleeve-as was typical with the inhouse Apple copies...I believe they save the glossy ones with the endorsing Apple for the releases.
The release catalogue number was: R 5884
This copy doesn't have a catalogue number but it does have matricies to each side: Side A: 7YCE 21511-1U Side B: 7YCE 21512-1U
