Description

ULTRARARE German, George Harrison Promo-Testpressing LP (Testpressung) from 1980

Somewhere in England DH 56870

WHITE LABEL

WITH DIFFERENT COVER

AND DIFFERENT TRACKLIST

Possibly unplayed

The cover for this release and some of the songs were rejected by the record company

The cover is in great condition.

No unwanted handwriting, stickers or any damages like tears or split. The cover is graded as EX++ with minimal usage marks (very light corner wear). Nice (non laminated)cover with embossed WEA logo on the back of the record sleeve.

Both labels are white Promo Labels.
Please Note: the promo label on this record is typical of the time when record labels used old white label middles from other promos as promo middles for their release - the promo labels used also had original text from the previous record but were reversed so that the old text was on the reverse of the label (mirror effect).

So you can see the old text but it is not relevant to this record.

The vinyl is in sensational Near Mint/Mint condition. Possibly unplayed. Very shiny vinyl.

Not only the cover was rejected from Georges record company but also 4 songs were replaced from this album.  Flying Hour, Lay his head, Sat Singing and Tears of the world (are all featured on this album) and were later replaced by Blood from a clone, All those years ago, Teardrops and That which I have lost, on the later published version by George's record company.
