Description

A 1st pressing of Material World on the UK Apple label from 1974. Matrix 4U/2U. Etchings "GOT HITRE KRSNA HARE". The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a heavy-card gatefold cover. Also included is the original fold-out lyric sheet and the original ochre colour shaped inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+/NM) Truly stunning condition and has clearly seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of ultra-fine marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A lot of the audio on this lp is very low-key and you are going to need a really top-level copy to do it justice. THIS IS THAT COPY. The audio quality is absolutely stunning and totally unhindered by interference. I don't think I can recall more than a couple of isolated crackles [literally] throughout the entire record. You will not find a better copy..period.
Cover (Ex+) Why couldn't they make all gatefold covers like this? Gah! The 1st issue heavy-card gatefold is a thing of beauty. Solid as anything and looking in superb condition with only ultra-light evidence of handling. Shiny front and back and the interior is in a similar condition. Difficult to imagine bettering. Edge wear is practically non-existent and the spine is 100% intact. It retains perfect rigidity and this is a testament to the quality of manufacture.
Inner (Ex) No major issue. Just one tiny bottom edge split - 1cm.
Lyric Sheet (Ex+) Faultless. The white interior is unaged and there are no signs of handling use.

Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
