Description

THIS IS THE LAST VARIANT I HAVE NO MORE WILL EVER BE OFFERED
THIS PRESSING IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE OF THE THREE  VARIANTS THAT WERE 'MARKETED' BACK IN 1982

George Harrison Somewhere in England
around 1982
"Dark Horse Records" Manufacturer unknown

Over my several years of collecting I've been able to collect three variants of this specific release. One with the Dark Horse label and titles, another with a promotional label, and a third with blank black labels. All have similar covers.
This pressing is the one with the promotional Dark Horse labels. THIS IS MY FINAL PRESSING from my collection. No others will ever be available.

Keep in mind that Harrison's record label NEVER released this version, never pressed this vinyl. Those who claim this was a recalled album or that it's a real promo are gravely mistaken. It is not.

The vinyl is visually very clean condition, at least a VG+ or perhaps M-. The jacket is beautiful (the replication of the artwork is really well done). No tears, no marks no writing. Take note that the mouth of the jacket was cut slightly long on the back when compared to the front. You can also see some slight tanning. Some small yellow aging at the top and bottom of the mouth opening (probably from the glue). Please see the photos for a closer inspection,

This is obviously for the George completest.

Visual grading only:

Cover M-/VG++ great shape some slight tanning, wear and rubs. Slight bend on top back left along the upper spine. Slight ringwear on the bottom back cover. Jacket was cut a bit off. You can see a small white portion of the back cover from the front along the mouth. Some small yellow aging glue at top and bottom of mouth

Vinyl VG++/M- very clean with slight rubs and scuffs.
The 'faux' promo labels are quite impressive. This is probably why some assume it's from the manufacturer. Again these were never produced or pressed by Warner Bros. Ever. Some claim this was a real withdrawn promo pressing. It's not. It's an alternate release with no details as to who may have pressed it. Don't pay hundreds of dollars for this variant. It's rare but not extremely rare.
