Description
The original 1st press of TCFBD on Apple Records. The vinyl is all marked 'Made in England'. The vinyl all comes housed in an original box with lid. Each vinyl has it's original ochre-brown inner sleeve. Also included is the quite hefty original booklet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex/Ex+/Ex+/Vg+/Ex+) In great condition and have mostly only seen light use. Under close inspection discs 1 & 3 seem very clean with just a couple of marks. Disc 2 is exhibiting a few more marks - but they are still light...nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing reveals a mostly, but not exclusively, EXCELLENT+ level of playback with a couple of deviations on side 5. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. All sides play to a high standard with very little interference. The only side where I'm picking up a bit of static occasionally is on side 5. It looks like it's seen a bit more use than the others. But even then we're just talking about a bit of static and the odd crackle and click in a couple of those super popular Dylan tracks [e.g. Blowin']. By and large a storming rendition of this 70's classic.
Cover (Vg+) Difficult to find in great condition, but this example acquits itself admirably. Very nice and clean front and back - certainly better than most examples that surface. The lower box seems to be in pretty much great condition with no splitting. The lid of the box is exhibiting a small of splitting at a couple of the corners. Nothing serious and certainly far less than you usually find. The text on the spine is all still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Booklet (Ex) In great condition. Has not aged and has not been heavily thumbed. All pages intact and still attached.
Inners (Ex) All three seem in great condition. No splits.
