Description

George Jones GRAND OLE OPRY'S NEW STAR Country Song Hits STARDAY. First pressing 1956, George Jone's 1st LP. Insanely rare record, very hard to find! This copy is definitely not perfect, but still plays through and very enjoyable listen, raw and very vintage country sounding. Recorded in Pappy Daily's living room for the most part, very lo-fi!!
Vinyl in G+ with several marks and loss of luster. Plays all the way through with crackle and pops, but sounds excellent. If you have a mono button on your receiver/amplifier, this definitely helps alleviate some of the background sounds.
Cover in G+ with a stamp on the front, wear around the edges, top spine starting to split 3" near the opening, all other seams intact. Yellowing on the back, there's a area near the spine on the back where it looks like a previous owner used the cover to cut out a small square (see photos).
