Description

This is Blue Note Records LP 7010, George Lewis And His New Orleans Stompers, a blue and white, deep groove, Lexington Ave label original 10" mono issue of this classic set with flat edges and the ear (p) mark in the dead wax. The record is in VG+(+) condition (a strong VG+) showing  some light marks on both sides but playing cleanly without distortion or skips but with some light background noise . The cover has a 5" split on the top and complete split on the bottom seams and a small label tear and writing in pencil. The labels are excellent and show only light spindle marks. Despite the cover, this is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this classic original Blue Note. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders.
