Original United Artists promotional “Not For Sale” white label copy. Impossible to find a copy of this promotional EP in such an outstanding Near Mint, practically unplayed, condition. Original United Artists Records picture sleeve, known as “Red”, was shipped together with the promotional EP containing the “Not For Sale” white labels to radio stations several months before the official release in the late June / early July 1964. This 7” EP contains two instrumental tracks from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of The Beatles “A Hard Day’s Night” with “Ringo’s Theme (This Boy)” on Side 1 and “And I Love Her” on Side 2. The design of this one of the rarest picture sleeves was based on the cover of LP album, containing the four photos of the Beatles, a red background and black and white text at the top on the front and nine photos on the back out of fifteen present on the LP. Ultra rare original 1st print United Artists Records “Not For Sale” white labels with the UA boxed logo, UA 745 catalog number and “Maclen Music BMI” publishing credit. The bottom of the label contains the rim text indicating the “New York 19 NY MADE IN USA” address. The promotional white label version of this EP contains the very early 1st matrix numbers: Side 1 (Ringo’s Theme (This Boy) - ZTSP-92804-1C / Side 2 (And I Love Her) - ZTSP-92805-1A. We’ve combined and listed this promotional EP together with a very rare original vintage 1964 United Artists “The Beatles A Hard Day’s Night” pressbook. This 13 ¼” x 18” 12-page promotional pressbook was shipped to the media and movie theaters before the film's premier containing the publicity materials, the band members’ bios, the information related to the film’s official merchandise, including posters and accessories, along with details concerning the exploitation campaign and many other features related to the film’s premier.

The original United Artists Records picture sleeve retains its saturated red color and is in Excellent condition. The picture sleeve doesn't have any writing, sticker residue or splits, just some very light ring scuffing, predominantly on the back. The original orange-yellow United Artists "The Proudest Name in Entertainment" inner sleeve is in Excellent Minus condition having only some light shelf wear, but no splits or tears. I grade the vinyl conservatively as Near Mint as it seems to be unplayed. The grading would be Mint Minus if it wasn't due to just a couple of tiny barely noticeable surface scuffs. The white "Not For Sale" labels are in absolute Mint condition. The vinyl sounds amazing with a crystal clear punchy sound.
