Description
George Michael Symphonica First Pressing 12” Dbl LP vinyl Record - One of only 500 Pressed.
I have owned this record from new; it is still in the shrink wrap, which has been slit along one edge, but the sleeve and records are in as-new near mint condition. There is a small 1cm tear to the corner of one of the inner picture sleeves as indicated in the photos. Disk one has been played three times, disk 2 has only been played twice. As you’d expect there are no scratches or significant noise, but it will already have a little static and mould release agent related noise as do all records from new. The sleeve is in perfect condition with no corner damage, and has been stored upright in an outer sleeve.
Released in 2014 it is the sixth solo album from the global Pop superstar. The Symphonica album was recorded during George's highly successful 2011-12 tour of the same name, a labour of love that fulfilled George's long-standing ambition of showcasing his extraordinary vocals alongside an orchestra in some of Europe's finest, most prestigious venues. Like the tour, the Symphonica album comprises lovingly arranged and sung versions of carefully selected highlights from George's back catalog plus interpretations of songs by some of his favourite artists, all beautifully recorded by Phil Ramone.
Due to the high value of this record it will be packaged safely in a double thickness cardboard record mailer and Dispatched with Royal Mail insured and signed for delivery.
