Description
This is Savoy Records MG-15003, George Shearing, a red, deep groove, label original mono 10" LP issue of Mr Shearing's 1st two piano trio sessions. The record is visually in VG++ condition showing almost no signs of wear but I rate it VG+(+) (a very strong VG+) because it plays with some background hiss mostly audible at the beginning of each side. I credit this to a pressing problem. However, this does not interfere with the enjoyment of the record and there are no skips and no distortion of the music. The cover with it's wonderful Burt Goldblatt photo is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of a rare original issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
