Description
Here is a beautiful copy of the George Solti conducted version of Bizet's "Carmen." This is the three-record set that Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab did. The complete set includes three LP's, libretto and a beautifully constructed box with a slot for each LP and one for the libretto. The snap on the closure of the box works fine.
Although noted to be pre-owned the overall condition is excellent to near mint-mint. The box overall is in excellent condition, there's a space on the back lower right of the box for a number plate, this was issued as part of a numbered limited edition. There is no number however there is a small drill hole where the number plate would be attached. Each album cover also has a small hole punch in the lower left corner. The booklet is in in excellent plus condition, no rips, tears, creases or writing of any kind. The vinyl is in near mint-Mint condition. There is a small scratch at the beginning of Side Six that is audible for about eight seconds. Otherwise the vinyl is near mint-Mint condition.
