When “Pure Country” was first released in 1992, it was only available on CD. It took the 25th anniversary in 2017 for the vinyl album to make its debut.
“Pure Country” is George Strait’s 13th studio album and soundtrack to the film of the same name. With more than 6 million copies sold, it is Strait’s most commercially successful album in his multi-decade career.
The vinyl album offered for sale is a promotional copy not sold at retail. It was used for display purposes and remains unopened, in its original shrink wrap, with the anniversary sticker affixed to the front. The vinyl is new, mint condition. The album cover features a gold foil treatment that is a susceptible to fingerprints and easily creases. It is listed as “near mint” (NM) because there are a couple of creases in the reflective materials that can catch the light at the right angle,
