Description

This is a vinyl record of George Strait's debut album "Strait Country" released in 1981 by MCA Records. The album features a mix of Cowboy Country, Contemporary Country, and Honky-Tonk styles, showcasing George Strait's talent as a country artist. This first pressing promotional edition includes the original inner sleeve and cover, and has been ultra sonically cleaned for optimal sound quality. With tracks like "Unwound" and "Blame It on Mexico," this album captures the essence of traditional country music from the 1980s.  This is the PROMO COPY that was sent out to radio stations to introduce this new young buck named George Strait.  This album is part of country music history.
