Here for your consideration is an extremely rare George W Johnson record,  The Whistling Girl. Number 5852 on a 9” Zono Phone.  This record is in fantastic shape, no wear on the labels! Plays very well, loud and clear, with normal background surface noise. 
George W. Johnson was the first African American to sing on a record! He sang THE LAUGHING SONG which was his most popular song back in the day. This recording of 'Whistling Girl' is a very rare take sung by Johnson.
