George Wallington Trio Progressive PLP 3001 Max Roach/Curly Russell Vinyl LP 10" 33 1/3 RPM
The vinyl is in VG+ condition with minimal surface noise during playback plus it has light spindle scuffs on the labels. The Burt Goldblatt illustrated cover has minimal wear from age/storage with seam wear.
Record Condition: VG (few marks on vinyl that do not effect play)
Sleeve Condition : Good ( Cover is a little faded with some marks and my Dad’s name written on it)

I am selling my Dad’s 1950’s- 1960’s jazz collection. They were played back in the day but probably not since. He was an avid fan and many albums are very rare; all have his name written on the back, part of the charm, I think, as you know they were treasured and played by one owner only. All albums show some sign of wear.

78 rpm records will be individually sandwiched between cardboard and then all will be over-packed into a larger box with packing material for ultimate protection while in-transit

GRADING
SEALED: Never opened...never played. Still in original shrink.
MINT : It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.
NM : Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.
VG+ : The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original luster may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.
VG : Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.
G : Well played with little luster and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.
P : Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above Good grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws.
