GEORGES GARVARENTZ - "UN BEAU MONSTRE" – RARE JAP FUNKY OST LP!!!
Original Japanese pressing of this very collectible score from cult French jazz composer Garvarentz! Pretty common in its French incarnation, but near impossible to obtain on this rare Japanese press.
And it’s a very sought after record in any format – since it contains the superb “Haschisch Party”, as included on the brilliant Crippled Dick “Shake Sauvage” compilation! There’s also, in addition to Garvarentz’s typically moody jazz themes, some cool pop-psych material by British band “The Wallace Collection”. And, as you might expect of a Japanese issue, it has liner notes on the back in errr. . . Japanese.

Think this is perhaps the first time a Japanese copy of this has come up on the ‘Bay. . .

GRADING:
RECORD is NM, lovely clean copy!
COVER is EX, some light overall wear and some minor brown marks on the bottom of the front cover; there are also a few light red pen marks on the back of the jacket.
