Ultra rare first album. Flipback picture sleeve, immaculate except for slight damage to top left and bottom right outer sleeve corners. Very small, but inaudible, marks on tracks 3 and 4, side 1. - EX/EX
Its outer packaging is in excellent condition, it is a great copy that plays well, the treble is crisp, the bass is full. Sounds good on the stereogram that I use to assess the surface condition.

No wear on the spine
The vinyl is clean and sparkling, there is evidence of spindle rubbing, the audio quality is fantastic.
The inner poly lined paper sleeve is in good condition.
The matrix stamps are XAX 2575 - 1N and XAX 2576 - 1N respectively. Both sides have a '1' at 9 o'clock and an 'A' at 3 o'clock in the run-off. Notice the clear KT purchase tax code embossed across the spindle hole on side 1.
I use the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide, shown below for your reference, for grading the sleeve and vinyl separately. Sturdy thick card mailers are used for each single/double album. Multiple albums are boxed and bubble wrapped.

Record Collector's Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.
