Description

This is an original copy of Georgie Fame "Rhythm and Blues at the Flamingo" relaeased in 1964 on the Columbia blue and black label, in Mono.

The catalogue number is 33SX 1559

CONDITION:

Cover:

The front cover is laminated and is undamaged with bright colours, the white strip across the top of the LP where it states" Georgie Fame" and "Mono"  is very white and the whole cover is totally clean. The back is unlaminated  clean and the flip back sleeve is undamaged and totally intact.

The spine and all the edges are sharp without any edgewear or rubbing at all. Overall,  I would assess the cover as Mint -

LP

The LP is pressed on  the blue and black Columbia label, with the catalogue number 33SX 1559.

Under a strong light, Side one is clean and shiny,with a mirror like finish with one faint hairline, probably caused by removing the LP from the inner. The label has one spindle mark.

Side Two also has the same clean and shiny appearance again with a mirror like finish. There is one small mark on track 2, and a hairline which does not sound at all.There are a few more spindle marks, and the outline of initials on the label. I say outline as you have to turn the LP at an angle to see it, and it is in the same colour as the label ie black so is not noticeable.

The record comes with the original "Emitex" inner, which is in excellent condition

The LP has been cleaned on my VPI record clening machine, and having played the LP all the way through, there are no pops or crackles or any other distortion at all.

Overall I would assess the condition of the LP as Excellent

Side One : XAX 2575 1N

Side Two : XAX 2576 1N

The record will be sent in a secure purpose made LP mailer, with the LP outside of the cover, but inside a polythene sleeve. It will be sent on the nearest Saturday to receiving full payment by PayPal only please.
