Geraint Jarman / Tacsi I'r Tywyllwch LP 1st Pressing Sain Excellent Condition.
This is an original copy of Jarman’s 1977 LP - “Tacsi I'r Tywyllwch”.
Issued on the Sain label from Caernarfon, it is in remarkable condition.
A mix of cod-reggae, rock, pop, singer-songwriter and faux-country numbers - all sung in Welsh.
The all-white sleeve is excellent though some discolouration is beginning. There are also to creases on the left and right-hand sides on the front of the sleeve. Apart from that, it is firm and completely legible and despite the colour or lack of same, surprisingly clean.
The spine is still legible and pinched at the top only.
The record itself has just been played by me ; it would have seen a lot of play in the late 70s and on especially crappy equipment yet for all that, it plays perfectly. No scratches, skips, ticks, jumps or sticks at all. There is some very low-level surface noise on the rills only, which am sure is down to 40 years of dust.
On foot of successful sale, I will give it a through and deep clean, which should eradicate any remaining surface noise.
In short - a fabulous copy ! Record is fantastic, sleeve near excellent.
