visual grade: G+ many scuffs, more on side B play grade:  i rec. both sides in full so please hear and judge yrself
side a plays with some noise but the music win strong G  side b plays a bit worst then side a G-
it's still a listenable/fine copy since it's a very good/loud pressing/cut not to mention the too powerful music
labels: clean cover: Vg-- (check large pictures accurately for all the details) not bad at all, a stamp on front cover plus general wear but intact and no tape or writings
conservative grading
comments: one of my all time fav albums out of Africa super heavy the beg of afro funk this is the man from Sierra Leone who inspired Fela to go funky, rec. live in studio with a bunch of friends who surely got a groovy time; really really hard to find especially in good conditions, this copy is not too bad after all, totally listenable, don't know anybody who's so lucky to own a Vg copy ?! rare legendary/seminal album
from Soundway reissue notes: Fela's speaking "i was playing highlife jazz when Pino came to town in '66 or a bit earlier with soul. that's what upset everything, man. he came to town with James Brown's music.. and with such equipment you've never seen man. this man was tearing Lagos to pieces wooooh man he had all Nigeria in his pocket made me fall right on my ass man this Sierra Leonian guy was too much Geraldo Pino, i'll never forget him"
