Description

Rare French experimental rock LP,  Plus Loin,  translated "Far Out"

Vinyl grade VG,  conservatively. It might be closer to VG+, but for safety, I’ll call it VG.   A small amount of crackle here and there, but no real problems, sounds great to me, a small scuff you can see on side b, about half an inch long in track B1, but I can’t really hear anything there, nor can I feel it.

There is writing on the back of the album cover, a gift inscription in black ink, and in blue ink, a translation of the French titles into English.

Inscription reads, "For June and Jack This French sound of musical research and love from Pierre and Jany."
I’ve wondered whether the gift inscription on the back of the album may actually be from Pierre Sorlier, himself, the artist who did the cover art for this album. This record is originally from the estate of Jack McClain, a tremendously talented but little known painter who lived in Hermosa Beach, and who counted among friends and acquaintances internationally known artists.  No way to know for sure, but fun to think it’s possible.

A very cool, very rare record.

As with any vinyl, this record will be removed from the jacket to prevent seam splits during transport, placed in protective sleeve and additional protective cardboard, shipped in packed, padded, reinforced box.
