 ABACUS - Same ( Polydor 2371215 ) Germany 1971

The 1st album from this German progressive quintet - recorded in August 1971 in Hamburg / North Germany - here as German original copy. Musically a top early German prog rock album with some jazzy folk and classical influences, a psych infected bluesy track "Ratbod Blues", also a few sitar inventions, with excellent organ work and great Englsih vocals from British singer Chris Williams.......

The laminated cover is in top excellent (ex) condition, showing only some lamination crinkles - especially on the seam back right side. Has only a TOUCH of beginning of ringwear, seeing under light (on the scan it looks far more....)

The record is in very good plus (vg+) condition, showing some paper scuffs / hairlines / a few longer hairlines - but NO deep marks or feelable scratches. Plays fine - only ocassionally tiny surface cracklings in some parts in the background only - especially on the 1st track on side II on the beginning, has also a few clicks on this track
