The US Postal service has recently increased the domestic postal rates. I am NOT raising my S&H at this time. It is costing more to ship items and the mailers I use are also more expensive with the postal rate increase and higher gas prices incurred by the various shipping companies. The S&H rate is as low as it is going to be so please do not ask for a cheaper rate.

There are several hundred LPs and other vinyl sitting around in all genres including Rock, Rap, Soul/R&B, punk/Alternative, and oddball items at any given time. There are new listings every week but if you would like to see a list of items that will be listed on ebay in the coming weeks email for that info.

1) Please do NOT use Ebay Instant Pay/Checkout. We will contact you via Email with the total.

2) PAYMENT: We only accept Money orders, US Cash (sent via USPS at your own risk), PAYPAL or BidPay for payment on all auctions. International buyers can pay by US CASH in a Registered letter, International Postal Money Order (where offered), PAYPAL or BidPay only. We will NOT accept personal checks under any circumstances or Cashiers/Bank drafts drawn from NON US banks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

3) PAYPAL INSTRUCTIONS: Please contact us for the PayPal address BEFORE paying, it is not the same as the ebay email. If you plan on using PayPal with a Debit or Credit Card you must email me for authorization prior to bidding (Some debit cards are read as CC by PP, please check if you are unsure). If you use a debit or credit card but don't get the OK before sending the payment, it will be declined.

4) Please send payment so it gets to me by the 10th day following the end of the auction.

6) Please do not bid unless you plan on following through with the transaction. I will file Non Paying Bidder Reports and leave NEGATIVE feedback on you if you do not pay for you items. Your bid is a legally binding contract, so if you bid you are required to honor that bid. Only bid as much as you are willing to pay, do not submit outrageously high bids that you cannot honor. I do not have time to chase you around so if you can't make sure you do things in a timely matter please save both of us the trouble and do not bid.

7) We post POSITIVE Feedback as soon as possible, but sometimes it may take me a few days. We always do get it done and hope you do the same as soon as you receive your items. If there is any problem with the item or you think it was not as described please email before flying off the handle, because we try to be fair and detailed in the listing descriptions so you will know what you are getting before you bid. We guarantee anything that is NOT sold AS IS, so if there is a problem we would like to try and fix it before there are any hard feelings.

8) GRADING: We grade conservatively based on the Goldmine standard. We have added one half step that is noted by Parenthesis: (=). It denotes a grade that is not all the way to the next step, either up or down. A record that is VG(+) looks cleaner than VG, but is not quite a full VG+. A VG(-) is not as beat up as a VG-, but not quite clean enough to be a VG. Generally this is used if a record plays cleaner than it looks for VG(+) or Looks worse than it plays for VG(-). Grading is by sight ONLY, however we try to listen to many things and will include info if is has been spun or at least spot checked it. If an item looks particularly clean and we don’t mention how it plays then it is grading by sight only. All items are guaranteed to be in the condition described, we try to grade conservatively based on the Goldmine Standard.

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Germs-Forming b/w Sex Boy 7” on What? Records from 1977. This was the first punk single to come out of the LA scene and is quite possibly the most amateur of any of them. It’s sort of astounding to think that they would have put out the best punk single (Lexicon Devil) a mere year later and in two would put out the GI LP would stands as the blueprint for HC that would be it’s spawn. They recorded the A side in a garage with 2 mics, the flip was “live” at some party and recorded in some maner that has yet to be explained. The first pressing was put out in an actual picture sleeve, like the major labels, which was a big deal at the time because sleeves often cost more to print than the records. CONDITION: The sleeve is VG+. There is some minor yellowing that has occurred over the nearly 30 years since it was printed. There is light impression of the record and light general wear from handling. The top edge has some light curling, but there is NO tatting, rips or tears that you might expect. The sleeve has been reinforced with an insert to prevent this. There are very small seam splits of 1-2cm on two edges, but they are almost invisible with the insert. There is an insert that includes the lyrics, basically a black ink typed Xerox. I can’t recall if this is “original” or not, because there were several versions and at least one of them might have been on purple mimeograph paper. The wax is VG++, bordering on NM-. Record is generally clean and shiny, but does have some light surface marks from the brushing the paper sleeve. There is one very light scuff on the A side that will not affect play. NONE of these small surface marks can be felt with a fingernail and shouldn’t affect play much. This record has been cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record Vacuum; so much of the dirt, dust, and gunk packed into the bottom of the grooves that causes surface noise have been removed. This record plays perfectly, very clean with NO audible noise. There are no loud pops, skips, locked grooves, etc and it plays very cleanly with little surface noise that is audible. It has none of the steady crackling surface noise that you would expect to hear on an old record.

SHIPPING:

S&H is $5 in the US. This includes the cost of the mailer and Media Mail postage, as well as the time spent cleaning the record with a Nitty Gritty Vacuum Record Cleaning Machine. I will combine S&H costs if you win multiple items. There will be a charge of $1 for 7”s + CDs/$1.50 for LPs PER ADDITIONAL ITEM on top of the basic S&H. Buyer will be responsible for any extra fees that may result from extra postal services, payment method, extra packing requirements, insurance, etc.

LPs go via Media Mail while CDs and 7"s go via First Class Mail. Usually Media Mail will take 7-10 days, but occasionally takes longer and I have no control over how long it takes. If you want to have it sent via Priority mail, with insurance or other services the price will be higher depending on services. This price is NOT negotiable. Please do not complain that you were expecting something outside of what I've outlined above. Do NOT bid if you are unwilling to abide by these terms. FORIEGN SHIPPING: S&H fees will be more than the price above if you live outside the USA and will have to be determined based on Destination. We can't give you the exact price until the item is totally packed up and properly weighed. Based on past experience I can give you an estimate on Charges to Europe (Far East rates are slightly higher for both): An LP is usually around $12-15 via Air (or about $6-8 via Surface) To Europe. CDs/7" are about $6-8 via Air. Do not Bid if you don't agree to pay the charges above.
