Description

Thank you for visiting my auction! My wife and are selling off some beloved items from our personal collections.

You are bidding on a copy of the Germs' classic album G.I. on Slash Records. This copy has been in my wife's collection since the 80s. It includes the lyric insert, although it is is folded in half and has a piece of tape on it where it obviously once hung on some punk rocker's wall. What punk rocker WAS IT? Jane Wiedlin? Richard Meltzer? Or maybe even Trent Reznor? All we know for sure is, they eventually sold their copy to Recycled Records in the South Bay where it was purchase by my wife in probably 1984.

The cover and LP both rate VG+. Cover has some light spotting and edge wear as seen in the photos. The LP has some surface  marks that do not noticeably affect play. I played side one and rocked out to the whole thing, it sounds nice and clean, at least until the music starts ha haaaaah. Then it sounds hard and brutal, like it should - seriously great sounding LP, I wish I was keeping it.

Matrix numbers read: "Slash-A" and "Slach-B".
