The Adventures of Twizzle (or simply Twizzle as it was known in some territories) was the very first television show produced by AP Films and specifically Gerry Anderson, first broadcast in November 1957. This rare EP record was published in 1958, and features two Twizzle adventures narrated by author Roberta Leigh, and including five songs. The 18cm x 18cm cover shows Twizzle with Footso the Cat and the White-faced Golly. The original owner has stuck a small “31” reference sticker in one corner, and has repaired the bottom right corner with tape, which is now yellowing. The back cover also has a rather ugly repair with green tape, but after a little TLC the cover should brush up nicely. The record looks OK, but I can’t guarantee it will play as I don’t have a turntable. Any Thunderbirds collector should have a copy of this rare EP in their collection, just for the artwork alone.
