For sale is an original pressing of "Oriente" by Giancarlo Barigozzi, Jubal SRL records, Italy 1973.
Without a doubt, one of the rarest Barigozzi lps ever! This album features some of the heaviest Eastern hip-hop beats EVER! Similar to Minoru Muraokas' "Bamboo" album, but way better, in my opinion and certainly rarer. Features heavy drumming from Tullio De Piscopo. You have just got to chek out the totally insane beats on "Festa Gioiosa Cinese", "Lavorazione Dell'Avorio" and "Sol Levante. This album is so rare, you will be hard pushed to find another copy!!!!
YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU CONSIDER PURCHASING THIS LP - This copy has an audible scratch across 2 tracks, "Sol Levante" and "Composizione Floreale". The scratch starts approximately halfway through "Sol Levante" and starts to fade off towards the end of "Composizione Floreale". On my record player, there are NO skips or jumps of any kind, just an audible click. Although the rest of the album is in EX condition and sounds clean (it's obvious it's barely been played), because of this scratch and the audible clicks that are heard on those tracks, it must be graded as G+. I have taken a recording of where the click starts so you can hear this on the player to get a better idea (to me, the clicks are not too bad, but I need to make you fully aware!). The sample from 1:28 to 1:56 is of "Sol Levante" and you can hear the worst of the scratch in that recording. The last sample in my audio is the track "Composizione Floreale" and you can only just hear the clicks. I am being as honest in my description as I can. It's never bothered me as "Festa Gioiosa Cinese" and "Lavorazione Dell'Avorio" are the two main tracks for me.The other tracks, other than the 2 with the scratch all play EX.
Listen to a sound clip from the actual record. Turn the volume up on the player as it defaults to low volume!!!
