Gigi Gryce Quintet ' The hap'nin's ' NEW JAZZ NJLP 8246 (USA) mono purple label with deep groove - issued in 1960 - on trail-off (dead wax) has RVG for Rudy Van Gelder - has the original Prestige inner sleeve Gigi Gryce : alto sax - Richard Williams : trumpet - Richard Wyands : piano - Julian Euell : bass - Mickey Roker : drums Side A : Frankie and Johnny - Lover man - Minority Side B : Summertime - Nica's tempo - Don't worry 'bout me Visual grading : record is VG+ full lustre has very light wear and few wispy lines on both sides. Has one more evident light scratch on 3rd track of side B. Clean labels with light spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound, Has a light occasional background noise in quieter parts and few occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is VG- has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has some tiny pieces of paper missing and printed titles partially readable. Front cover is clean.
