Gil Evans (with Johnny Coles, Elvin Jones, etc.) OUT OF THE COOL. Impulse A-4, recorded 1960.Orange on black not-deep-groove label. “RVG” stamped into the wax. Glossy gatefold jacket is E+: good fields and lines; strong corners though they’re fraying slightly.. “A Product of Am-Par Record Corp.” on lower back. Disc looks NM- and plays E+: a dust-lick crackle on the edges, that seems to be more than dust. Includes original catalog inner sleeve.
