Description
GIL MELLE - PRIMITIVE MODERN, Prestige LP 7040, deep groove pressing, 446 W 50th St on jacket and labels.
On this 1956 recording, the musicians are Gil Melle (baritone sax), Joe Cinderella (guitar), Billy Phillips (bass), Ed Thigpen (drums).
The tunes are Dominica, Iron Works, Ballet Time, Adventure Swing, Dedicatory Piece To the Geophysical Year of 1957, Mark 1.
Condition of record is E, no scuffs, no scratches, a few spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket is very clean - no ring wear, 1 inch seam split and bent corner bottom right.
